Taylor Cooper is the CEO of MistyWest, and an advisor to the Creative Destruction Lab incubator. With over 15 years of experience and a degree in Engineering Physics from UBC, he has led the MistyWest team in developing next-generation mining technologies, including the development of a miniaturized muon tomography system for continuous underground imaging, prototyping a Transcritical CO₂ Pulverization system to reduce comminution energy use, and pioneering subterranean autonomy with a modular, autonomous drone mapping system for GPS-denied mine environments. His past innovations include a patented miniaturized optical particle counter and contributions to spinouts from Google X.
