CEO and Founder

Nanoprecise Sci Corp

Sunil Vedula, a first-generation entrepreneur from a family of engineers and scientists, brings a unique blend of mechanical engineering expertise and an MBA from the University of Alberta. Driven by a passion for predicting failures and enhancing energy efficiency, Sunil founded Nanoprecise in April 2017 with a mission to address unplanned downtime and energy consumption in electric motors, which account for up to 50% of global electricity use.

Starting with minimal resources, Sunil bootstrapped Nanoprecise until securing $1 million in initial funding from Brian Craig. Under his leadership, the company soared from a modest $50,000 ARR in 2018 to $5 million by April 2023, with ambitious targets to surpass $13 million ARR in 2024 and $100 million in revenue by 2027. In January 2023, Nanoprecise raised over $15 million in growth capital and secured a $5 million credit line to mitigate supply chain challenges.

Sunil’s vision has driven Nanoprecise to secure two critical patents, with additional ones pending, and earn accolades for its innovative solutions. The company’s award-winning IoT device, MachineDoctor, and its AI-powered platform, NrgMonitor, have been recognized by leading industry bodies including Plant Engineering and Frost & Sullivan.

From 2023, Nanoprecise is pioneering self-sustaining IoT devices using solar energy harvesting and introducing groundbreaking physics and AI-powered software that revolutionizes Energy Centered Maintenance.

Under Sunil’s leadership, Nanoprecise continues to lead the charge in making electric motors more predictable and energy-efficient, setting new standards in the industry.
